Always apply a heat protectant before using hot tools.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWash the hair approximately every 1–2 weeks, depending on wear and product buildup, using a gentle sulfate-free shampoo. Follow with a moisturizing conditioner, applying it mainly through the lengths and ends.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWash the hair using lukewarm water and gently smooth the shampoo through the hair in a downward motion. Avoid rubbing, scrubbing or bunching the hair together, as this can create unnecessary friction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile the hair is damp, a small amount of lightweight natural oil can be applied to the lengths and ends for added moisture.
