Refund policy

At Hairholic, we want you to feel confident when placing your order. Please read our return policy carefully before purchasing.

14-day right of withdrawal

If you purchase through our webshop, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive your order, in accordance with Danish consumer law.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us at info@jhairlux.com within the 14-day period and clearly state that you wish to return your order. After notifying us, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.

Hair extensions, closures & frontals

For hygiene reasons, selected hair products may be supplied with a hygiene seal.

If the hygiene seal has been broken or removed, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply where the product is no longer suitable for return for hygiene reasons. Danish consumer rules specifically allow an exception for sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken.

We therefore recommend that you carefully inspect the colour, texture, length and overall appearance of the hair before removing the hygiene seal.

Hair that has been installed or worn; cut or altered; washed; coloured or bleached; chemically treated; heat styled; or sewn, glued or otherwise used cannot be considered unused. If the statutory right of withdrawal still applies, any loss in value caused by handling or use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product may be deducted from the refund.

Wigs

Unused wigs may be returned within the statutory withdrawal period where the right of withdrawal applies.

Wigs that have been worn, installed, cut, bleached, coloured, customised or otherwise altered cannot be returned as unused products.

Standard wigs can be returned within 14 days, as long as they are unused, unaltered and in their original condition and packaging. A wig that is custom-made or personalised to the customer’s specific requests cannot be returned.

Return condition

Returned products must, where applicable, be returned in the same condition in which they were received and include the original packaging, accessories and tags.

Opening normal packaging alone does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal. However, a broken hygiene seal may affect your right to return products covered by the hygiene exception.

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping when exercising their right of withdrawal, unless otherwise agreed.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Hairholic is not responsible for returned parcels until they have been received by us.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where the full right of withdrawal applies, the original standard delivery cost is also refunded. Additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive shipping method than our standard delivery option are not necessarily refundable.

Any reduction in the value of the product caused by unnecessary handling or use may be deducted from the refund.

Faulty or defective products

Your statutory rights relating to faulty or defective products are not affected by this return policy.

If you believe your product was defective when delivered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or videos.

Hairholic is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by improper installation, excessive heat, bleaching, colouring, chemical processing, incorrect maintenance or the use of unsuitable hair products.

We strongly recommend following our Hair Care Guide and seeking professional assistance when bleaching, colouring or chemically processing the hair.

Before returning your order

Please contact us at info@jhairlux.com before sending any products back. Include your order number, full name and reason for return.

Products returned without sufficient information may take longer to process.
