What started casually from my parents’ apartment, with just two or three clients some months, and sometimes only one every other month eventually became something much bigger.
Four years ago, after moving into my own place, I decided to take my passion seriously and officially created JHairLux. From there, everything moved quickly. What began as a love for making women feel beautiful grew into years of hands-on experience, working closely with clients and understanding exactly what women want from their hair.
And eventually, Hairholic was born.
Why Hairholic?
Hairholic came from something very simple: I have always loved beautiful hair.
My own hair was such a big part of how I expressed myself, and I wanted to make that feeling accessible to other women too, especially in Denmark, where sometimes we need a little reminder that you do not need a special occasion to dress up, wear the hair, put on the outfit or simply look your best.
For me, it has never been about vanity.
It is look good, feel good.
There is something powerful about investing in yourself and showing up as the version of yourself that makes you feel most confident. Women are constantly expected to perform, achieve, prove themselves and keep everything together, and sometimes something as simple as loving what you see in the mirror can change the energy you carry into the world.
You don’t have to look how you feel.
Sometimes looking good is exactly what helps you feel better.
